Payment Data

• Stripe customer ID (an opaque identifier linking your account to Stripe)
• Subscription and verification transaction records (timestamps and method)
• We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full payment credentials — all payment processing is handled by Stripe

Content & Usage Data

• Topics, prompts, and creative direction you provide for podcast generation
• Generated podcast content (audio, scripts, metadata)
• Playback history, listening patterns, and interaction data
• Interest selections and content preferences

Technical Information

• Browser type, device type, operating system
• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Referral URLs and page navigation patterns
• Session duration and feature usage metrics

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate and deliver personalized podcast content
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
• Verify publisher identity through the $0.50 verification charge
• Improve our AI models, service quality, and content recommendations
• Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance the user experience
• Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Identity Verification Data

When you complete the $0.50 publication verification charge, we record:

• The timestamp of verification
• The verification method (verification charge or subscription payment)
• Your Stripe customer ID

This data is retained for the lifetime of your account to maintain an auditable record of publisher identity. It is used solely for account verification and legal compliance purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services as necessary to provide ReasonSpring:

• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
• Google — OAuth authentication (Sign-In with Google)
• Apple — OAuth authentication (Sign in with Apple)
• ElevenLabs — Text-to-speech voice synthesis for podcast audio
• Groq — AI inference for content generation and speech processing
• LiveKit — Real-time voice communication infrastructure
• Tavily — Web search for content research during podcast generation
• PostHog — Product analytics (anonymized usage data)
• Google Analytics — Website analytics

Each third-party provider processes data according to their own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: Third-party services listed above, bound by contractual obligations
• Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or the Company

6. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Published content: Retained while your account is active; removed within a commercially reasonable timeframe after deletion
• Verification records: Retained for the lifetime of your account plus 3 years after deletion for legal compliance
• Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years)
• Analytics data: Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely
• Backups: Content may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion

ReasonSpring is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. The version date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
